Not a long time ago Sony told the world Netbooks were in race to the bottom and had no intention to join the race. Well with the success of these cheap (technically obsolete) computers, Sony finally gave up and here's their first true Netbook, the Vaio W Series. Specs are pretty much what you can expect with a Atom N280, 1GB of RAM, a 10.1 LCD with a 1366x768 resolution, an Intel GMA 950, Wifi, Bluetooth

Whether you love them or loathe them, I think it's time to accept that Hello Kitty themed gadgets just aren't going to go away. The latest item to be emblazoned with a picture of a pink and white cat is this laptop, which is a partnership between Epson and Japanese firm Sanrio. From this picture it looks like the Kitty branding is purely desktop wallpaper, but no - close the lid and you'll find the same design on the lid, too.

The laptop measures 281x23x3.5mm and comes with 12.1” display, a Celeron M423, 512MB of RAM, and 40GB hard disk, all of which comes at a price of roughly £1115.

on one side it uses barbie's pink, frilly world and on the other its uses the predominantly
male world of table soccer, the one that is traditionally called 'babyfoot' in france.
barbie became a symbol of ideal femininity, with exacerbated body proportions
and a vast landscape of fantasies surrounding this cliche.

by bringing the two worlds together 'barbiefoot' wishes to stimulate thoughts
about different mentalities and the pre- digested everyday ideas we commonly face.
